Navalt Shines Again: Two Boats Shortlisted for The Gussies 2024!

We’re excited to share that two of our solar-electric boats, Indra and Apollo, have made it to the finals of the Gustave Trouvé Awards 2024!

A Look Back at Our Gussies Journey

The Gussies are like the Oscars for electric boats, a globally recognised platform celebrating innovation and excellence in clean boating. Over the years, we’ve had some memorable wins:

Back in 2020, our solar-electric ferry Aditya won in the category of Excellence in Electric Boats Designed for Paying Passengers.

In 2022, our solar-electric fishing boat SRAV was recognised in the Excellence in Electric Workboats category.

Last year, in 2023, four of our boats (Marsel, Dialga, Zayle, and Vanora) made it to the shortlist.

This year, we’re proud to have two strong contenders in the running:

Indra (Commercial Passenger Vessels: Currently in Operation) – A workhorse that’s already changing the game in cruise tourism with its quiet, efficient, and economical operation.

Apollo (Commercial Passenger Vessels: Currently in Development) – Our bold vision for the future of sustainable boating in Maldives.

Why This Matters

The Gussies aren’t just about awards; they’re about pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in electric boating. It’s an opportunity for companies worldwide to showcase their innovation and inspire others to go green on the water. Being shortlisted is a huge honour for us, and it reaffirms our commitment to creating smarter, cleaner, and more efficient boats.

Every vote count, and your support means the world to us. Let’s bring this home together!
