Job Description: 

The Accountant is pivotal in managing the organization’s cash flow and ensuring accurate and timely accounting. This role encompasses a diverse array of responsibilities related to bank and cash payments, taxation, reconciliation, and audit preparedness. The individual in this position will handle these duties diligently and ensure financial transactions align with the organization’s compliance standards. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Payments & Bank Reconciliation:

o Ensure payments are made based on the payment priority shared. 

o Reconcile all bank accounts periodically and ensure accuracy. 

  • Tally Updation:

o Update all payment entries in Tally for both cash and bank payments. 

o Account for bank receipts in Tally. 

  • Payment List Management:

o Update the Purchase Approval Follow-up Sheet and the Payment List post each payment. 

o Ensure meticulous filing of all bank and cash vouchers. 

  • Tax Deduction:

o Guarantee tax is deducted at the appropriate rates for all payments, including advances. 

  • Salary Management:

o Record the salary payable entry in Tally. 

  • Vendor Advance Review:

o Conduct periodic reviews of vendor advances and ensure timely settlements. 

  • TDS Management:

o Prepare the TDS statement for Quarterly Returns and oversee monthly TDS payments.

  • Weekly Summary of Constraints: Provide a weekly summary of identified constraints, along with potential solutions and action plans via email. 
  • Daily Project Tracking: Track project progress daily using Primavera or other defined planning tools, ensuring alignment with project schedules. 
  • Support for Quarterly Plans: Assist in preparing and supporting quarterly plans, considering project milestones and objectives. 
  • Support for Monthly Plans: Collaborate with the planning team to develop and support monthly plans, ensuring project timelines are met. 
  • Help with Bi-Weekly Plans: Provide assistance to the site team in preparing bi-weekly plans to streamline project activities. 
  • Weekly Plan Review: Review and assess the weekly plans submitted by each department, ensuring accuracy and adherence to project objectives. 
  • Project Schedule Preparation: Assist in preparing project schedules, incorporating key activities, resources, and timeframes. 

Requirements: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Additional certifications in Quality Management (e.g., Six Sigma, ISO, ASQ) are a plus. 
  • Proven experience as a QAQC Engineer or a similar role in a relevant industry. 
  • Strong understanding of quality control procedures, standards, and regulations. 
  • Familiarity with quality assurance methodologies and tools. 
  • Analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills. 
  • Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in work. 
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work under pressure. 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills. 
  • Knowledge of statistical analysis and quality improvement methodologies is advantageous. 

Salary Range: 25,000 to ₹30,000 per month, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
