Key Responsibilities

• Prepare electrical drawings such as power layouts, lighting layouts, wiring diagrams, and single-line diagrams based on engineer instructions.

• Develop, modify, and update drawings using CAD software in line with project standards.

• Coordinate with electrical engineers, site teams, and other disciplines to incorporate design changes.

• Ensure drawings comply with electrical codes, safety standards, and project specifications.

• Assist in identifying drawing discrepancies and support timely corrections.

• Maintain proper documentation of drawings, revisions, and as-built records.

Key Requirements

• Qualification: ITI in Electrical Trade.

• Drafting Skills: Basic to intermediate proficiency in AutoCAD or similar drafting software.

• Electrical Knowledge: Understanding of electrical systems, wiring methods, symbols, and basic load concepts.

• Attention to Detail: Ability to prepare accurate drawings with minimal supervision.

Roles and Responsibilities

1. Design ships and boats, related components and specialist equipment using mathematical and physical models to ensure the ship’s design is technically sound and that it complies with safety regulations

1. Assessing project requirements and Researching feasibility
2. Plan the whole build process of a vessel, managing everything from concept through to delivery of the final product

1. Act as a consultant – providing clients with engineering solutions, technical and commercial guidance, support and project management for concept design studies, new vessel constructions, refits and conversions

1. Conduct a risk analysis of ships and marine structures, using the regulations of classification societies and intergovernmental organisations such as the IRS, to assess aspects of design such as strength, stability and lifesaving ensure projects are completed in accordance with industry standards

Junior Product Designer

Responsibilities:

Role Overview:

The Electrician will be responsible for assisting in the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in a shipbuilding and construction environment. This role is ideal for candidates with around 2 years of experience who have developed foundational technical skills and are ready to take on greater responsibility under the guidance of senior staff. The Electrician will work on cable laying, electrical fittings, termination works, and routine maintenance tasks while ensuring safety compliance and project quality.

Key Responsibilities

Installation and Maintenance
→ Carry out conduit and cable laying inside vessels.
→ Support installation and connection of electrical systems in vessels.
→ Perform termination work under supervision.
→ Assist in routine and preventive maintenance operations on board vessels.
→ Maintain and repair electrical tools, equipment, and switchboards.

Interpretation and Learning
→ Read and interpret basic electrical drawings with limited guidance.
→ Assist in troubleshooting and identifying electrical issues.
→ Implement instructions from supervisors to complete tasks efficiently.

Safety and Compliance
→ Follow all safety protocols while working with electrical systems.
→ Use personal protective equipment (PPE) and ensure safe work practices.
→ Report hazards and unsafe conditions to supervisors immediately.

Collaboration and Support
→ Work closely with senior electricians and supervisors.
→ Prepare work areas, organize tools/materials, and support team operations.
→ Maintain work records and update supervisors on task completion.

Requirements

• ITI or Diploma in Electrical (mandatory).
• Around 2 years of relevant experience in electrical works (shipbuilding/construction preferred).
• Strong understanding of electrical tools, wiring, and basic troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
• Willingness to work in a shipbuilding and construction environment.

Salary Range: ₹18,000 to ₹20,000 per month
