GREENSHIP

Greenship, a brand by Navalt, specialises in advanced electric propulsion systems for a wide range of vessels, from small boats to large cargo ships. The Greenship platform incorporates five distinct energy sources: wind, hydrogen fuel cells, solar power, batteries, and engines. These sources are tailored to suit various applications, including:

High Power, High Energy Applications

The advanced energy storage system features 2 MWh battery packs seamlessly integrated with renewable sources like solar, wind, and hydrogen fuel cells via a unified DC system. This setup ensures energy diversity and reliability, even in fluctuating conditions. Generators on the AC side and shore charging further enhance power continuity. High-voltage AC motors, paired with transformers and VFDs, deliver precision and efficiency. Designed for fast vessels, cargo ships, and high-bollard pull tugs, this system sets new standards in sustainable, efficient, and resilient marine energy solutions.

Wind Propulsion

Harnessing wind power for large cargo vessels, suction sails generate mechanical energy to assist propulsion by connecting to the same shaft as the engine. This innovative system reduces engine load, significantly cutting fuel consumption and emissions.

Medium Power, Medium Energy Applications

Manta modular battery packs, up to 1 MWh each, power a flexible energy system integrating solar, wind, hydrogen fuel cells, and shore charging. AC generators, high-voltage motors, and VFDs ensure efficiency and performance. Ideal for fast ferries, barges, and low-bollard pull tugs, this system delivers sustainable and versatile energy solutions.

Auxiliary Propulsion

Our auxiliary propulsion solution suits large cargo vessels and all vessel types, combining Manta LFP batteries with hydrogen fuel cells, wind, solar, and backup diesel gensets or shore charging. It reduces reliance on auxiliary engines, lowering fuel costs and emissions for sustainable operations.

Low Power, Low Energy Applications

For low-power applications, battery packs (48-144V, <500 kWh) integrate seamlessly with solar, wind, and hydrogen fuel cells in a unified DC system. AC generators, shore charging, and low-voltage AC motors with VFDs enhance efficiency and reliability. Ideal for medium-speed ferries, tourism boats, and small fishing vessels, this system delivers sustainable, flexible energy solutions.

Parallel Hyrbid Systems

The parallel hybrid system combines an engine with electric propulsion powered by Manta LFP batteries, charged via solar, wind, or grid power. Electric motors share the engine shaft, enabling pure electric or hybrid modes for optimal fuel efficiency and savings. Ideal for small fishing boats, barges, and tugboats.

Greenship’s versatile propulsion systems are ideal for vessels such as cargo ships, tugs, barges, passenger ferries, fishing boats, yachts, and tourism boats. Beyond offering cutting-edge propulsion solutions, Greenship acts as a system integrator, providing bespoke system design services for custom vessel projects.

MAKO

Clean, Mean Water Machine

MAKO is a high-performance, efficient electric motor series designed and developed by Navalt. The permanent magnet motor offers range of power from 4 kW to 75 kW at voltage ranges 48 to 750 V, making it the perfect choice for a wide range of applications.

The Mako Fury pod motors are durable and robust, with an S1 duty cycle unlike typical outboard motors. They can be customised for up to 360° steerable operation and are available in 5, 10, 20, 40, 60, and 80 kW configurations, ranging from 48 to 750 V.

The Mako Rage motors is an outboard variant of the Fury with custom mounting options. Avalable in the same power configurations as the Fury series.

The Mako Surge motor series is an entry-level outboard motor designed for leisure applications. It is marine-grade certified and suitable for all weather conditions. Available in 3 and 6 kW configurations, it is rated at 48 V.

ORCA

IRS Approved Electric Steering

Orca Electric Steering is completely electric, IR Class approved, which means you don’t need to worry about maintenance or fluid changes. With Orca, you get an innovative system that performs well in inboard and outboard boats and multiple engine setups. The quick response from electric power makes it easy for you to manoeuvre the boat. In comparison to a hydraulic steering system, Orca does not require any oil pumps or fluids to operate. The steering requires less maintenance and has an additional joystick control for redundancy.
