Mosasaur
Kraken—the world’s first solar-electric RORO. This giant is designed to carry all kinds of vehicles across waterways. The first Kraken will be deployed in Kerala, and soon many will start cruising the inland waterways of the country. The 120 KW motor inside allows this beast to cruise in comfort as it carries tons of weight across the blue with zero noise!
Special Purpose Boat
Nirva
We at Navalt understand that customisation is pivotal when it comes to catering to special needs. We want you to be able to choose a boat that takes care of such a need but also opens up an avenue for greater possibilities. Whether it is rescue operations or shipping operations, every purpose requires a dedicated focus taking into account the way in which the boat must be designed, electrified and operated.
Electric Propulsion System
- MANTA
- MAKO
- ORCA
MANTA – LFP Battery Pack
Manta is a lithium battery-based energy storage system with DNV type approval for enhancing safety and reliability. With a modular design of high scalability, Manta meets diverse project requirements. The system’s capacity can be customised from 5 kWh to 2500 kWh and at voltages up to 800 V upon customer request. Manta offers real-time energy data, insight into the health of your batteries, and advanced safety features.
MAKO – Electric Outboard Motor
MAKO is a high-performance, efficient pod series designed and developed by Navalt. The permanent magnet motor offers range of power from 4 kW to 75 kW at voltage ranges 48 to 750 V, making it the perfect choice for a wide range of applications. The Mako electric outboard motor is durable and robust with S1 duty cycle unlike typical outboard motors.
ORCA – Electric Steering System
Orca Electric Steering is completely electric, IR Class approved, which means you don’t need to worry about maintenance or fluid changes. With Orca, you get an innovative system that performs well in inboard and outboard boats and multiple engine setups. The quick response from electric power makes it easy for you to manoeuvre the boat. In comparison to a hydraulic steering system, Orca does not require any oil pumps or fluids to operate. The steering requires less maintenance and has an additional joystick control for redundancy.
