The Role
The Purchase Engineer will be responsible for managing the procurement process, including sourcing equipment, goods, and services while ensuring timely and cost-effective purchasing. The role involves supplier management, market analysis, negotiation, purchase order management, quality assurance, and inventory control. The ideal candidate will have a B.Tech degree, at least 1 year of experience in procurement or purchasing, and relevant experience in the manufacturing sector, along with strong negotiation and vendor management skills.

Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers to secure optimal terms
• Regularly assess vendor performance to ensure the quality of supplied products
• Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals
• Collaborate with internal teams and stakeholders to clarify requirements and expectations
• Identify potential suppliers based on project needs
• Negotiate pricing, quantities, and delivery terms to achieve the best value
• Prepare and issue purchase orders in a timely manner
• Monitor deliveries to ensure products are received on schedule
• Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers to optimize procurement costs
• Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and supply challenges
• Identify opportunities for cost reduction through strategic sourcing
• Ensure procured goods meet required quality standards
• Collaborate with the Quality Control department for inspections and assessments
• Track stock levels and initiate replenishment as needed
• Coordinate with inventory and sales teams to maintain accurate stock records
