Our Leadership
Sandith Thandassery is the Founder and CEO of Navalt Solar and Electric Boats, a naval architect and award-winning entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience in the marine industry. Holding a Bachelor's degree in Naval Architecture from IIT Madras and an MBA from INSEAD, he has dedicated his career to revolutionizing water transport through clean energy. He led the creation of Aditya India's first solar electric ferry which has carried over 11 lakh passengers without a single drop of fossil fuel. His visionary leadership has earned Navalt global recognition, including the World's Best Startup award at the Berlin Startup Energy Transition Awards 2023, cementing his place as a pioneer in sustainable marine innovation.
