The Role

The Accountant (M.Com Graduate) will be responsible for managing day-to-day accounting operations, cash flow, payment processing, bank reconciliation, taxation, and audit support. This role requires strong accounting knowledge, attention to detail, and the ability to maintain accurate financial records while ensuring compliance with applicable tax and statutory requirements.

What we are looking for:

• Master's degree in Commerce (M.Com) is mandatory
• Experience working in a CA firm is preferred
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial transactions
• Proficiency in Tally and accounting software
• Knowledge of taxation and TDS management
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Knowledge of Zoho accounting software is an added advantage

Responsibilities:

• Process payments according to approved payment priorities and perform regular bank reconciliations
• Record cash and bank payments and receipts accurately in Tally
• Update purchase approval follow-up sheets and payment lists after each transaction
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of bank and cash vouchers
• Ensure appropriate tax deductions on payments, including advances
• Record salary payable entries accurately in Tally
• Review vendor advances and follow up for timely settlements
• Prepare quarterly TDS statements and manage monthly TDS payments
• Assist in statutory audits, due diligence, and other audit requirements
• Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with applicable accounting and tax requirements

Job Details:

Salary: ₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications)
