Mechanical Engineer – Design & Engineering

The Role

The Mechanical Engineer – Design & Engineering will support the design and development of marine vessels by assisting in the preparation, review, and maintenance of technical drawings and engineering documentation. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong interest in CAD design, production coordination, and marine engineering who are eager to gain hands-on industry experience.

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor's degree (B.Tech/B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 1 year of experience in design or engineering roles
• Strong interest in CAD design, production processes, and marine applications
• Basic knowledge of AutoCAD or SolidWorks is preferred
• Good communication and coordination skills
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Willingness to learn and collaborate with cross-functional teams

Responsibilities:

• Assist in reviewing and correcting CAD drawings to ensure design accuracy and compliance
• Coordinate the distribution and organization of finalized design documents
• Verify material requirements against engineering specifications
• Support site feasibility assessments and coordinate with production teams
• Assist in briefing production teams on finalized engineering drawings
• Upload design documents to regulatory portals for compliance requirements
• Participate in site visits and collect engineering feedback and measurements
• Research machinery specifications and evaluate suitability for marine applications
• Maintain engineering documentation, design revisions, and compliance records
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, and production teams to ensure smooth project execution
