Sandith Thandasherry, chief executive officer of Navalt Solar & Electric Boats, Kochi, was selected as the best start-up entrepreneur of the year 2017 for his contributions towards innovation in transforming water transportation. The TiE Kerala Awards were instituted to recognise and encourage outstanding Kerala-based entrepreneurs and ecosystem builders who are the key catalysts in a cultural shift among youth towards entrepreneurship.
