Senior Accountant

The Role:

We are looking for a committed and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com) and have 5–6 years of hands-on experience in an auditing firm.

This role involves managing financial operations, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with statutory and tax regulations.

• 5–6 years of experience in an auditing firm

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and taxation

• Proficiency in Tally and accounting software

• High attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Good communication and coordination skills

Responsibilities:

• Ensure timely processing of payments as per schedules

• Reconcile bank accounts regularly with accuracy

• Record cash and bank transactions in Tally

• Maintain updated records for receipts and transactions

• Manage purchase approvals and payment tracking

• Maintain organized documentation for vouchers and records

• Calculate and deduct TDS as per regulations

• Record and manage salary payable entries

• Review vendor advances and follow up on settlements

• Prepare and file TDS statements and monthly payments

• Assist in statutory audits, internal audits, and due diligence

Nice-to-have:

• Experience in handling audits and compliance processes

• Familiarity with financial reporting systems

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary:

₹25,000 – ₹30,000 per month (based on experience and skill level)
