Purchase Manager
The Role:
We are looking for a Purchase Manager to oversee procurement activities, including sourcing equipment, goods, and services in a timely and cost-effective manner.
This role involves vendor management, negotiation, and procurement strategy, ensuring quality standards and supporting overall operational efficiency.
What we are looking for:
B.Tech degree (mandatory)
Minimum 4 years of experience in procurement or supply chain roles
Experience in the manufacturing sector
Strong vendor management and negotiation skills
Familiarity with purchase order systems and inventory tools
Good communication and relationship-building abilities
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers
Evaluate vendor performance and ensure product quality
Plan and execute procurement strategies aligned with company goals
Identify and source suppliers based on project needs
Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contracts
Prepare and manage purchase orders
Track deliveries and ensure timely receipt of goods
Monitor market trends and identify cost-saving opportunities
Ensure quality compliance of procured materials
Manage inventory levels and coordinate replenishment
Required Skills & Expertise:
Strong negotiation and procurement strategy skills
Experience with inventory management and procurement systems
Ability to analyze market trends and pricing
Good organizational and multitasking abilities
Ability to work independently and in teams
