The Role:

We are looking for a Marine Draughtsman to prepare detailed technical drawings and plans for marine vessels and systems. This role involves working closely with naval architects and engineers to deliver accurate, compliant, and high-quality designs.

What we are looking for:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in marine drafting

  • Proficiency in marine CAD and 3D modeling tools

  • Strong understanding of marine construction standards

  • High attention to detail and accuracy

  • Good communication and teamwork skills

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare detailed drawings for hull structures, piping systems, and onboard layouts

  • Develop technical drawings using CAD and 3D modeling tools

  • Collaborate with naval architects, engineers, and project teams

  • Review and refine drawings to meet quality standards

  • Ensure compliance with maritime regulations (IMO, SOLAS, etc.)

  • Identify design issues and propose practical solutions

  • Manage revisions and maintain documentation accuracy

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Marine, Rhino, ShipConstructor, or similar tools

  • Strong knowledge of marine drafting standards and practices

  • Familiarity with maritime regulations and class rules

  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills

  • Ability to manage timelines and respond to feedback efficiently
