The Role:

We are looking for an Electrician to support the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in a shipbuilding environment. This role is ideal for candidates with around 2 years of experience who are ready to take on greater responsibilities under supervision.

What we are looking for:

  • ITI or Diploma in Electrical (mandatory)

  • Around 2 years of experience in electrical work (shipbuilding/construction preferred)

  • Basic knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and troubleshooting

  • Ability to work independently and in a team

  • Willingness to work in a shipbuilding environment

Responsibilities:

  • Carry out cable laying and conduit work inside vessels

  • Assist in installation and connection of electrical systems

  • Perform termination work under supervision

  • Support routine and preventive maintenance tasks

  • Maintain and repair electrical tools and equipment

  • Read basic electrical drawings and assist in troubleshooting

  • Follow safety protocols and ensure proper use of PPE

  • Report hazards and maintain safe working practices

  • Support team operations and maintain work records

Required Skills & Expertise:

  • Knowledge of electrical tools and wiring methods

  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to interpret electrical drawings

  • Good teamwork and communication skills

  • Strong attention to safety and compliance
