Some moments define a journey. Some awards define an era.
And then there is The Gussies, The Gussies are like the Oscars for electric boats, a globally recognized platform celebrating innovation and excellence in clean boating, Where the world’s best electric boats gather, and the future of marine mobility takes shape.
This year, we are proud to announce that three of our vessels have made it to the finals of the Gustave Trouvé Electric Boat Awards 2025.
But before we talk about today, let us take a look at how far this journey has carried us.
Our Gussies Legacy: Leading Since 2020
When the world was just waking up to the possibilities of electric boats, Navalt was already building them.
It began in 2020 with Aditya, India’s first solar ferry. A bold idea that became a global benchmark. Aditya won the Gussies 2020 Award for Excellence in Electric Boats Designed for Paying Passengers. That victory proved that clean transport could be both commercially viable and globally respected.
In 2022, our solar-electric fishing boat SRAV took the torch forward, winning the Best Electric Workboat award. Competing against entries from more than 30 countries, SRAV showed that world-class innovation can rise from Indian waters.
By 2023, our presence at the Gussies had grown even stronger. Marsel, Dialga, Zayle, and Vanora were all shortlisted, each representing a unique step in redefining performance, safety, and sustainability on water.
Then came 2024, when Indra and Apollo carried the flag higher. From Kerala’s backwaters to the turquoise seas of the Maldives, our solar-electric fleet continued to prove that Sustainable water transport is not in the future anymore. It is a present.
2025: Three Boats. Three Finalists. One Loud Statement of Intent
And now, in 2025, the story continues.
Three of our vessels have reached the finals of the Gustave Trouvé Electric Boat Awards, standing tall among 122 nominations from around the world. Each one represents a different dimension of what Navalt stands for: innovation, performance, and purpose.
Estirar – Up to 8m In Development
Built for efficiency and practicality. Compact, capable, and designed for real-world use.
Limo – Over 8m In Production
A perfect blend of luxury and sustainability. Designed for quiet travel, zero emissions, and a passenger experience that defines modern marine elegance.
Apollo – Commercial Passenger Vessels In Development
Our boldest project yet. Created to answer one question: can commercial sea going passenger transport be reliable, scalable, and fully electric? Apollo’s answer is yes, and the world is watching.
To have three finalists recognized on this international stage is a strong reminder that consistency matters. Vision matters. And staying true to purpose always pays off.
What This Means
For us, The Gussies are not just about awards. They are validation. Validation that electric mobility is no longer an experiment. It is the new standard for water. Year after year, Navalt has stayed committed to this purpose. Every recognition, every nomination, and every win proves that we are on the right course.
What Comes Next
The winners will be decided by both the International Judging Panel and the public vote (20% weightage). Which means every single vote counts.
Your support has carried us this far. Now, it can help us go even further.
Vote for Estirar, Limo, and Apollo, and be part of this journey that began with one dream to make the water cleaner, smarter, and future ready.
Because innovation means nothing if it does not ripple beyond us.
And we are here to make waves that last.
